Girls weekend with heat

A girls weekend. Papi Anders was working all weekend so Dixie and I made it in to a girls weekend. Started off with a drink and a cake at the cafe at the shopping mall. Dixie picked a chocolate cake, which she pretty much finished all by herself. As you can see, she enjoys chocolate cake or "choci milk" as she calls everything with chocolate.

Next stop new hair clips at Claire's. Dixie tried on a whole bunch of head pieces, here she is checking out the hair extensions...

In the tunnel at the playground to work off some of the sugar from the cake. Fab day with choci milk, lunch and some shopping.

One of the things we bought was some arts and crafts stuff. Dixie picked out birds made out of thin wood, paint (neon pink of course) and glitter at the store. How happy am I? Dixie seem to love arts and crafts as much as I do. Anders is ecstatic over that we will have more glitter, paint, pens and paper in the house... No?

Sunday, more work for Papi and excursion for us. On our way to Eeva and Jamie to check out their new pad in Zurich. So happy when friends are moving closer. We decided to take the public transport, too much snow on the road. Dixie loved both the train and the bus.

Oh boy. Dixie was over the moon when she got to see Jamie. Dixie's favorite 4-leged little friend. Jamie is so cute and cuddly, also very nice with kids.

More play, Jamie! Dixie is waiting patiently while Jamie is snacking. It all started out so great and then lunch came... not so good.

Dixie decided it was a great idea to put her hand on the stove, and Dixie's mom thought it was a good idea to have Dixie close to the stove. It turned out that neither one of those were such great ideas. This is where the heat comes in. A tiny little hand on the hot stove. Dixie was so sad, hurting and tears were flowing. We ended up taking Dixie to the emergency room at the Kinderspital after the luncheon. Tired from the painkillers, Dixie crashed once we came home and slept for a good 1.5 hours. Poor little Miss D. Heading back to check the hand at the doctor's tomorrow. Hopefully it will be ok. I just feel so bad for my little girl.

Mimis lilla hjärta! Så illa det kan gå! Hoppas det inte blev så allvarligt!!!
Jamie är verkligen en sötnosig liten vovve; tur att Eva flyttat så nära så ni kan ses oftare. Kanske får Dixie snart hålla i kopplet!!!
